My 13th b-day party

Yesterday I had my b-day party. This year I took three of my friends (Mia, Katie, and Alyssa) shopping in Topeka. IT WAS A BLAST! All week I had been waiting for Friday and when Friday came around I couldn't believe it was already Friday. So for my b-day party details their are 2 parts.

part 1: shopping: The main point of this party was the shopping, and everyone knows that shopping is a way to get a girls heart. We got to Topeka around 4:45pm. My mom let us go around the mall by ourselves. We decided that before dinner we were really just going to look around the mall then after dinner we would go and buy stuff. When it was time for us to eat we couldn't decide where we were going to eat at. It took us about 30 minutes to decide where to eat. We finally decided that we would just eat at the food court. Mia and I got Chinese, Alyssa got taco bell, and Katie got Subway. It was really good. After dinner we went and bought a ton of stuff. Aeropostale had a ton of on sale things, so that was where I got most of my clothes. A birthday gift from my parents was a pair of converse so after Aeropostale we went to Payless and got my shoes. We ended up being at the mall for four hours. After the mall we went to Kohls and Walmart. It was an awesome shopping trip.

part 2: slumber party
We got home around 11:30pm from Topeka. The girls were going to spend the night as well. We started our little slumber party by having b-day cake. Now you are probably thinking how the heck can they have cake at midnight, but hey you can't have a party with out one of grandma's cakes. We stayed up till 4:00am (well some of us did some of us went to bed at 5:00). We played truth or dare, and we had some pretty funny dares to. We then watched She's the Man. Alyssa and I fell asleep during the movie but Mia and Katie watched the whole thing. We all woke up at random times but all of us were awake by 11:00. We had donuts, and played Mario Kart. We then had a big wrestling match. The pictures below are our wrestling poses. I have to say that Mia has some pretty good wrestling moves. She know how to get you into a pretty good headlock. We then had lunch. We all were starting get tired and worn out so we just really relaxed. Everyone left at 4:00pm. I have to say that this one of the best party's I have had. Thanks girls for the presents and thanks mom and dad for putting up with us crazy girls!

I chopped it, highlighted it, I layered it and I love it

My before picture

My before yucky hair

Foiling my hair for the highlights

Drying the highlights

Layering my hair

Look how happy I am

Look at my beautiful new hair!

Yesterday my grammie took me to get my hair cut, highlighted, and slightly layered, Now when I say cut you will probably think just a trim but THIS was not a trime. She whacked off about 5-6 inches of hair. So instead of my long ratty hair I have just below the shoulder hair. I also got my hair hightlighted blond. My hair stylist is a master hair person. After she was done highlighting she even layered it a little bit! All I have to say is I love my hair. After we got my hair done we went to Applebees for dinner. It was delicous. Now let me explain the pictures. Now my pictures are in steps so follow the steps of my night with Grammie. I would like to say thank you Grammie for doing this for me! I love you so much.

Sisters, Sisters

This blog entry is dedicated to my sister Faith. Yesterday I realized how grateful I am to have her as a sister. Yesterday I didn't have Wednesday night activities so it was just my mom, Bryant, Faith, and I at home. I was about to play Wii by myself and then I realized that the past week I hadn't really done anything with Faith, so I asked her if she wanted to play wii with me. Her and I had a blast playing. We played for like an hour and a half. It was during that time when we were turning off the wii and she asked me if I would help her get ready for bed (she rarely asks me to help her). When I was helping her and telling jokes to each other I realized I loved her SO much. I don't know if you have heard the song sisters but my aunt Angie and Alena have sung it before. The song is about two sisters who never grow apart. So here I have posted the lyrics to the song. I LOVE YOU FAITH.

Sisters, sisters,
There were never such devoted sisters.
Never had to have a chaperone, no sir.
I'm here to keep my eye on her.

Caring, sharing
every little thing that we are wearing.
When a certain gentleman arrived from Rome,
she wore the dress and I stayed home.
All kinds of weather, we stick together,
the same in the rain or sun.
Two different faces, but in tight places
we think and we act as one. Uh-huh!

Those who've seen us
know that not a thing can come between us.
Many men have tried to split us up, but no one can.
Lord help the mister who comes between me and my sister,
and Lord help the sister that comes between me and my man.

All kinds of weather, we stick together,
the same in the rain or sun.
Two different faces, but in tight places
we think and we act as one. Uh-huh!

Those who've seen us
know that not a thing could come between us.
Many men have tried to split us up, but no one can.
Lord help the mister who comes between me and my sister,
and Lord help the sister who comes between me and my man.

Sisters!
Sisters!
Sisters!
Don't you come
between me and my man!

A perfect way to spend a friday night

Last night i had an awesome time. We had Jonathan and Erica, Jeremy, and Jacob and the girls over for a little get together. My dad got the projector from his work and he hooked up the dvd player and wii to it. We had a blast playing wii games on the big screen. We also watched Wall-e on the big screen. I had never seen the movie before and I loved it. I've been trying to make these last couple of days of break really fun. I wish break did not have to end. Here are some pictures from tonight.

Goodbye School Hello Winter Break

Last Friday was are last day of school before winter break. That Friday we performed with are rock bands. We were called the Burger Queens. We sang the Ding Fries are done song ( the song is on my playlist if you want to listen to it) We rocked, we had those bells you use at restaurants when they say "order up". It was a blast. I was also thankful it was the last day till winter break. I have had a pretty nice winter break so far. Got presents from my grammie on Sunday, slept over at my Grandma Starrs house Monday. Tuesday we celebrated Grandpa Starrs b-day at Golden Corral. It was a blast. We reserved the private room their called the "Emporium"! We had good food and Angie came up with a cool quiz game. Here was one of the questions. When did grandpa get his first T.V? A) early 1970's B) early 1950's C) early 1960's D) early 1940's. I'll give you the answer at the bottom of the post.
